Who do we share your data with?

We share this information with outsourced and freelance staff or support services directly related to our business. All support partners and trainers are vetted carefully to ensure they meet our standards for data protection.

As an aviation training provider, we are legally obligated to provide information to the Civil Aviation Authority in the UK, the Europe Aviation Safety Agency and occasionally to regulatory bodies located outside the United Kingdom. We are also required to transmit abridged information to the Civil Aviation Authority after specific training courses.

We do not sell, trade or exchange your personal data with any 3rd party organisation.

How we store and protect your personal information

As with many small businesses we do not have the resources for tailormade software systems but we have a policy of using best in class mainstream systems. As a result, much of our data being transferred to the USA via cloud systems.

We use safeguards for sensitive and private data exchange between this Site and its Users. Data exchange happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.  All financial online transactions are handled by PayPal, Stripe, or directly from your banking provider to ours and are fully secure and encrypted.

We keep financial data for 7 years in line with Company law requirements. We will then dispose your information by deleting all personal data records from our systems.

To deliver training services, at the time of booking, the client is asked to complete an enrolment form and submit personal information required for their training course. Once the course has been completed this information is deleted.

Data Retention Periods

We retain your data for the minimum period required to comply with legislation and to satisfy HMRC as outlined below:

Financial records including payroll, maternity and paternity payments

6 years from the end of the current tax year when the payments stopped

Employee records

6 years from the end of the year employment ceased

CVs and interview notes

6 months from the end of the recruitment cycle

CVs for speculative or pool applicants

Consent renewed annually with a request to update data

Email marketing

Individuals remain on the list until they unsubscribe or are removed via our periodic list management activities

Prospect data

Retained for 18months and managed in line with our periodic database management processes

 

Your data protection rights
